Pizza Peel, 270mm Square Head, NZ Made, Stainless Steel - two lengths available

You will be impressed with the quality of this New Zealand made stainless steel peel.  

Designed for lifting food items in and out of your oven, the head is a generous 270mm x 270mm square but not too large as to become awkward to use.

The handles are welded to the head rather than bolted to provide extra strength and longevity. The highly polished head means food items slide on and off a lot better and it is easier to clean than peels with holes in them.  

There are two lengths available, 940mm and 1200mm.  The smaller length is suitable for small to medium sized oven while the longer length is better for larger or commercial ovens. Use a tape measure to see which size will be most suitable for your oven.  

The square shape tends to be better with breads or less 'rounded' cooking items such as roasting dishes.  It is also better for moving an active fire around in the oven and for scraping ash off the floor prior to cooking.  The round version is better for picking up round pizzas and for cleaning your oven ash out as it can get right into the curved sides.  Having both shapes on hand is always better!
