800mm Cardboard Mould Plus 25kg Bag Of Calcium Aluminate Cement

Get a great start to your wood fired pizza oven project with this cardboard mould and 25kg bag of calcium aluminate cement.

The cardboard mould will create an oven with an internal diameter of 800mm and comes as a flat pack.

The mould is designed to have a refractory grade material placed over the top. Once this cures the mould is removed and you have created the oven shape. Simple! This is where the bag of calcium aluminate cement comes in.

Ordinary Portland Cement can't handle the high heat generated by fire. It will break down and loose strength quite rapidly. For high temperature applications the better choice is calcium aluminate cement mixed with a suitable aggregate (one that can also handle the heat). Calcium aluminate cement is a very specialised cement which isn't available from your local hardware store.
