These exceptional, high quality bricks are perfect for building your dream fire place, wood fired oven, hobby kiln, incinerator, welding table, fire pit, hangi or other high temperature project.

Measuring 230 x 114 x 75mm, these bricks are ideal for building free standing structure. Being wider, this size brick can be used to form your fireplace (rather than just line like a thinner 25mm or 40mm brick).

These bricks are brilliant for use in building a brick pizza oven where they are traditionally used for the floor and cut in half to use over the dome.

The bricks are a massive 55% alumina which means they can better cope with the thermal shock (temperature changes) involved in home projects that are infrequently heated. 

The bricks are individually surrounded by cardboard for transport preserving their great looks to really enhance your project.  

These bricks have a temperature rating of 1400 degrees C under load.

Note: Refractory bricks are brittle and regularly have small chips out of the edges.  This is just the way they are.  Remember that when building an arch for an oven only one side will be showing and small chips are not obvious in a finished oven.
