Calcium Silicate Insulation Board 500mm x 1000mm x 50mm
Calcium Silicate Board is a brilliant product for insulating under pizza ovens and fire places.
It serves to significantly reduce heat loss through the floor of the oven and retain heat in the oven where it should be.
A lot of oven builds are let down by a lack of insulation in the floor (just read the forums) and if the floor keeps loosing heat it makes cooking pizzas and other foods a lot harder and less successful. It may seem like a big investment for something you can't see but it is well worth it.
It is a dense material for building domes over and is less prone to being affected by moisture than ceramic fibre materials.
The 50mm boards are comprised of two 25mm boards glued together with a special refractory glue.
The material is easy to shape and cut but is quite fragile so handle sheets carefully.

Smaller items are sent on Aramex or Posthaste Couriers which are normally 1-2 business days to deliver. Mainfreight deliveries are usually 2-3 days.

North Island: $10 Urban $15 for Rural per 25kg of weight.
South Island $15 Urban and $25 for Rural per 25kg of weight.
Orders over 100kg are shipped to Mainfreight depots for collection - pricing from $50.
