Decorative Ring, Copper, 100mm wide, Ring Only

Add some real class to your oven with these custom copper rings.

Note: the mortar is not included in this pack!  There is a full pack which includes the mortar available in the shop.

The rings are 100mm wide and are designed to be run around a 200mm or smaller flue. Their sizing allows for 30mm of mortar around a 200mm flue. 

The rings are supplied pre-curved and long enough to allow the ends to overlap by approximately 25mm.  The two ends are then secured together with four small stainless steel rivets (supplied).  If you don't have a riveting tool and ask really nicely we can make it up for you.  Doing it yourself just allows you to customise the size.  

The rivets are hard to see as they are placed at the rear of the flue (unless you want to make a feature of them at the front).

We recommend using waterproof mortar to fill the gap between the copper and the flue. This is to avoid the mortar becoming water logged and cracking when heated. 

Note: copper ages quite quickly further adding to the look of the oven.  If you wish to retain the copper colour then you will need to coat the copper with a clear lacquer of some kind.  To restore the polished copper look use a suitable metal cleaner such as Autosol.
