High quality fire brick measuring 250 x 250 x 25mm (+/- 1-2mm)

With a massive 42% alumina content these fire bricks are suitable for a wide range of applications including fireplaces, pizza oven floors, Argentinian grills, BBQ's etc.

The high alumina content makes them more resilient to thermal shock (temperature change) which is important for DIY projects where they are likely to experience infrequent rapid heat up.

These high density refractory fire bricks are ideal for use as a floor in an oven or for walls and floor in a fire.  

Density is critical for an oven floor, as it absorbs heat from the fire them releases it via convection into the food being cooked. 25mm thickness balances performance and economics.

If using the bricks in a fireplace they are excellent for protecting surrounds from direct flame contact and absorb heat energy to radiate it out of the fire and keep you warm.

These bricks are rated to handle up to 1730 degrees C (1400 under load).

The bricks are heavy, weighing approximately 3.6kg each so we can only send 6 bricks at a time via standard courier. This means we are unable to combine freight.
