Mestek infrared thermometer designed to take temperature readings without touching the surface and from a safe distance. This unit will measure up to 800 degrees celsius. Such a valuable tool for getting the most out of your oven.
This infrared thermometer reads the surface temperature of where it counts - the cooking floor and the inside high on the dome (to assess radiant heat).
Many ovens have in built thermometers but these generally measure temperatures inside the door or low on the side of the dome. You're not cooking there!
Pizza ovens run hot, so don't get caught out buying a cheaper product that isn't capable of reading higher temperatures.
This also comes with a bonus temperature probe!
