Vermiculite Board 610mm x 1000 x 25mm
High quality vermiculite board suitable for a wide range of applications.
Commonly used in wood burners and fire boxes, the material is easy to cut and shape with a hand saw or circular saw. It is suitable for direct flame contact.
These heavy duty 800kg/m3 (+/- 10%) sheets have a compression strength of around 5 mpa at room temperature.
Sheet weight 12.8kg (this is grunty!)
The boards are quite porous and are NOT suitable for applications where they may get damp such as exposed pizza oven floors and outdoor applications. It is likely to swell over time.
Maximum working temperature 1100 degrees C

Smaller items are sent on Aramex or Posthaste Couriers which are normally 1-2 business days to deliver. Mainfreight deliveries are usually 2-3 days.

South Island $15 Urban and $25 for Rural per 25kg of weight.
Orders over 100kg are shipped to Mainfreight depots for collection - pricing from $50.
