Getting the size of the concrete slab that the oven sits on correct is a very important part of the project.
Attached are links to demonstrate the finished oven sizes on two different sized slabs. One demonstrates the minimum slab size and the other demonstrates the oven sizing allowing for a small front landing. You can of course adjust the size of the slab to your personal preferences. These are just examples to start you off.
The front landing provides a small working space directly in front of the oven and helps catch any fire particles which may come out of the oven. It also adds to the aesthetics of the oven and allows you to add some personal flare!
